Memory from a Residency: fourth week in Ii

My solo exhibition in KulttuuriKauppila wil be open on November 30th, the title of the exhibition and other information’s will be posted soon.

After spending the firsts weeks on drawing and mostly on thinking about my own work, now I am working on several canvases painted with oil colour and other mixed media. During the first month in KK the environment of Ii definitely took a place on my mind, actually I can’t compose any images without consider it, so my new works describe the environment non in a traditional way, I am not painting just traditional landscapes, but I paint small details of the nature, I just describe the way the nature come into me. You can see the first of these new painting  “My Love is Working Deeply”, oil and collage on canvas,  80x70cm.
