Ca'Foscari Summer School 2013

The Ca 'Foscari University of Venice and the Accademia di Belle Arti of Venice collaborate in the summer of 2013 with the activation of a series of art workshops open from 17 June to 2 August 2013.

It will be my job to follow the Laboratory of Painting and Drawing which will be located in beautiful contest as Forte Margheraspaces in the middle of July.

The laboratory of Drawing and Painting aims to help the student to analyze both the issues and the formal aspect of the image through the sketches, and then through the traditional painting techniques such as watercolor on paper, tempera and acrylic or oil on canvas. The student will also be led to the knowledge of the more practical aspects of painting, such as the preparation of the support (the construction of the frame, the priming of the canvas, for example) and the guide to the correct use of colors.

Each student will be given a strictly personal way of working, in line with the aptitudes and interests demonstrated and also he will be able to interact and communicate with students of Paintings enrolled at the Accademia of Fine Arts also actively present at Forte Marghera, thus benefiting of 'direct observation of young artists at work.
